Richmond and El Cerrito questions, answered.

What West County families ask us most before starting in-home ABA.

Do you offer ABA therapy in Richmond?
Yes. We provide in-home ABA across Richmond, El Cerrito, San Pablo, Pinole, and Hercules for ages 2 to 25, with a BCBA designing and overseeing every program.
Is there a center in Richmond?
No. Our Early Learner Center is in Albany, about 10 to 20 minutes from most of West County. Richmond-area families usually receive care at home.
Does CCHP Medi-Cal cover ABA?
Yes, when ABA is medically necessary. CCHP requires a diagnostic evaluation and a referral from a licensed physician or psychologist before authorizing services. We handle the provider side of the paperwork, and there is no cost to the family for covered services.
Which West County cities do you serve?
Richmond, El Cerrito, San Pablo, Pinole, and Hercules, plus nearby communities. If you don't see your city, reach out anyway. Availability changes as our team grows.
How soon can we start?
After coverage is confirmed and a BCBA has completed the assessment, sessions usually begin within a few weeks of acceptance, depending on authorization and staff availability in your area.
Do you provide ABA in Spanish?
Yes. Our team delivers care directly in English and Spanish, and we adapt each program to your family's home, culture, and routines.
What does an in-home session look like?
A Registered Behavior Technician supports agreed goals during everyday activities such as meals, getting ready, shared interests, and community outings. The BCBA reviews progress and adjusts the plan with the person receiving care and their support team.
