Our commitment
Animate Behavior is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities and those who use assistive technologies. Accessibility is part of how we care for the families we serve.
We are continually working to improve the experience for all users and to apply the relevant accessibility standards as our site evolves.
Standards we aim for
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
What we do to support accessibility
- Use semantic HTML and meaningful headings to support screen readers.
- Provide descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Maintain sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements.
- Ensure interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard.
- Respect reduced-motion preferences for animations.
- Design responsive layouts that work across devices and zoom levels.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Third-party tools and embedded content (such as scheduling or intake forms) may not fully meet our standards. We are working with our partners to address these areas.
